Built to take severe operating conditions with a minimum of maintenance. These units can be single speed, two speed, or variable speed, with your choice of prime mover: electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, or manual. Electric powered capstans feature marine duty "Crane & Hoist" Design D motors for smooth starting under load and 300 percent starting torque. Capstan options include special marine coating and explosion proofing for hazardous areas.

MODEL 22300
Thru–the–deck mounted, watertight, bronze–bushed cast - 100,000 lb static line pull.
Single or multi–speed, driven through a spur gear reduced differential speed reducer.
Motor / brake and differential speed reducer are suspended from the base forming a capsule drive unit.
Speed reducer operates in a continuous oil bath and all bronze bushings have pressure grease fittings.
