The RADIO BUOY is a
product developed by RYOKUSEI to improve the fishing operation,
and to prevent the loss by drifting away of fishing nets and long
lines. The electrical wave emitted by the Radio Buoy fastened to
fishing nets or long lines is received by the direction finder on the
ship, and the net can easily be found. When fishermen fish for tuna,
salmon, trout, crab, herring, squid, and swordfish etc., they use this
system to receive radio waves sent by a SVC-706T to locate buoys
attached to their nets or longlines. Buoys sit low in the water with
only the antenna showing, but due to high theft we offer the
"Call Buoy" which can not be located until it is called by a
secret frequency. Then it will activate, and will be found using a
direction finder. The call buoys also save on battery life! Both
battery types can be used in the buoys. Units come with a KAN-3
battery. Optional D cell battery packs can also be purchased. |
