SKIMMERS

After the oil is encountered by using a sweeping formation the task is then to recover as much of the oil on water as possible, normally with as little water content as possible. RO-CLEAN DESMI has the entire range of skimmers available today. Our capacities are ranging from 2 – 250 m³/h The types of skimmers available includes Weir, Oleophilic, Vacuum and Belt Skimmers.

	VERTICAL SCREW PUMPS The DESMI range of heavy-duty vertical screw pumps can be used in a wide variety of applications - such as emergency response, salvage, oil transfer and contract cleaning work.
POWER PACKS RO-CLEAN DESMI offers a very comprehensive range, 3-119kW, of diesel and electrically driven multipurpose power packs / hydraulic power units for operating oil spill control equipment such as boom reels, skimmers and pump – as well as other devices.

Applied Fabric technologies offers 2 distinct types of fire proof boom both based upon proven technology to assist operators in "Insitu" burning. These two barriers are Pyroboom and Pocket boom. Pyroboom is a stand alone solid flotation boom designed to respond to spills with, burn them and then overhaul the system for use again. Developed in 1984 for use on the Alaska North Slope and other remote locations, it is simple, durable and easy to use. Pyroboom has been subject to numerous test protocols and has passed them all.
