*ISO certified fenders are required to be constructed from tire-cord fabric. Our "Standard" fenders are made from a similar synthetic "Chafer" fabric. The Chafer fabric is a very good material that meets the ISO strength requirements, but can't be sold as an ISO fender because of the "Tire-Cord" material requirement. Because of the lower cost of Chafer fabric we are able to offer a high quality fender at a lower price. Certificate of Analysis tests have been completed and witnessed by ABS on 11/06/2009 for both the Chafer fabric and Tire-Cord fabric. Test results are available upon request.
