SEA VIEW WARRANTY

Your SeaView Limited Warranty

This is a "Limited Warranty" which gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state, or province to province.

For a period of Ninety Days from the date of purchase, any malfunction caused by factory defective parts or workmanship will be corrected at no charge to you. To obtain a replacement or refund, return the product to us prepaid.

For the period following the first 90 days, and ending one year from the date of original purchase, any malfunction caused by factory defective parts or workmanship will be corrected at no charge to you for replacement parts. You will be charged for labor, with a minimum labor charge of US$35.

Not covered: Repair service, adjustment and calibration due to misuse, abuse, or negligence, are not covered by this warranty. Unauthorized service or modification of the product or of any furnished component will void this warranty in its entirety. This warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, installation, setup time, loss of use, or unauthorized service. This warranty covers only SeaView products as described by and contained in the product package as purchased, and is not extended to other equipment and components that you may use in conjunction with SeaView products.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR THAT THE PRODUCTS ARE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, AND SPECIFICALLY IN LIEU OF ALL SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHALL BE THE SOLE REMEDY OF THE CUSTOMER AND THERE SHALL BE NO LIABILITY ON THE PART OF SEAVIEW VIDEO TECHNOLOGY INC. FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE.

Some states or provinces do now allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Retain receipt for warranty claims.

Important Warranty Information

SeaView Video Technology Inc. will repair or replace your SeaView product for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. From 90 days to the end of your first 12 months of ownership, we will repair your Seaview product at no charge to you for parts. You will be charged labor with a minimum fee of US$35.

This is a Limited Warranty offered only to you as the original purchaser of a SeaView Product.

What is covered under this Warranty?

This Warranty covers materials and workmanship.

What is not covered under this Warranty?

This Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, "acts of God," incidental or consequential damage. We are not responsible for any damage or malfunction if you fail to follow installation and operating instructions, connect to improper voltages, open sealed cases or enclosures, or experience damage or malfunction resulting from flaws or faults in electrical wiring at the point of use. Damage or malfunction resulting from careless or negligent operation is excluded. Damage from contact with a propeller is specifically excluded.

How do I obtain Warranty Service?

You must be the original purchaser, and you must provide an original receipt showing when and where you purchased your SeaView product. You must write or telephone us for a Return Authorization Number before returning your product. You are responsible for shipping or mailing costs on the return.

After you have obtained your Return Authorization Number, ship or mail your authorized return prepaid to:

Please include your Return Authorization Number, telephone number, return address, proof of purchase, and a written description of the problem. We will not accept collect shipments, or shipments without a Return Authorization number.

When we receive your returned product, we will inspect it and inform you what we find within 5 business days. At our option, we will replace or repair your product and return it to you prepaid.
